Daily Hukamnama Changes

July 22nd, 2006

All of us at SikhNet are very excited about the current happenings and new features relating to the Daily Hukamnama page. There has been overwhelming support regarding the new additions and changes to the Hukamnama page. We are trying out a lot of new things, so please be patient as you get familiar with the new format for the Hukamnama and we work things out.

The most noticeable change is the new Audio English translation (and Transcribed Text). Let us know if you find the typed up version of the English translation also usefull as this is being typed of from the audio every morning and does take a fair amount of time to complete. (To give feedback you can leave a comment on this post).

You can also use the comment system below each Hukamama to share thoughts and questions relating to the Hukam. This is a way for everyone to learn from Each other about Gurbani and the message from the Siri Guru Granth Sahib.

Next week I’ll go into more detail on some of the new features so you can see some of the new and cool things you can do with this Hukamnama format.

If still prefer the old hukamama format you can view it here.
