kabahu na hovhu darisat agochar jee-a kai sang basay. ||1|| rahaa-o.
 pRIqm pRwn ADwr suAwmI ]
pareetam paraan aDhaar su-aamee.

poor rahay parabh antarjaamee. ||1||

ki-aa gun tayray saar samHaaree.

Today’s hukamnamma is in the bilaaval raag and is by Guru Arjan Dev Ji. The bilaaval raag is the raag of complete and utter happiness. Complete joy, celestial joy. The joy in bilaaval is the joy that arises within us when we attain something that we have been wanting for a long time, and finally we reach that goal. That is the happiness of bilaaval. That happiness of having reached that goal, of having attained the unattainable, of having become one. That is the happiness of bilaaval. That is the emotion, the current, that runs through bilaaval.
