Bhagat Bheekhan Ji has blessed us with this Hukamnama today in the Raag Sorath and what Bhagat ji is saying to us today in this Raag begins like this. Bhagat ji says,
ik oa(n)kaar sathigur prasaadh, there is ik, One creative, destructive and nourishing being who is sat, who is completely true and who is found through Gur Prasad, through the Guru’s Grace. And Bhagat ji says,
nainahu neer behai than kheenaa bheae kaes dhudhh vaanee, from my eyes, neer behai, tears fill up my eyes, fall down my cheeks, than kheenaa, my than, my body, is kheenaa, has lost its energy; bheae kaes dhudhh vaanee, my kesh, my hair has become white like dhudhh, like milk; just like dhudhh my hair has become the same white color.
roodhhaa ka(n)t(h) sabadh nehee oucharai ab kiaa karehi paraanee, roodhhaa ka(n)t(h), ka(n)t(h), means my throat, roodhhaa, means to constrict, to tie and not be able to work; roodhhaa ka(n)t(h), my throat is not working, sabadh nehee oucharai, I cannot even oucharai, I cannot even say the shabadh, the Word, Mantra, ab kiaa karehi paraanee, ab means now, kya means what, karehi means to do, prani means the mortal, what can the mortal do now? Bhagat ji is saying death is fast approaching me and still I have not meditated upon Waheguru.
raam raae hohi baidh banavaaree, then Bhagat ji says O Ram, O Waheguru, O Raae, O Great King, hohi baidh banavaaree, O Waheguru ji, You are the banavaaree, You are the gardener of this whole Universe, this whole garden. You tend to this whole universe; please be my baid, my doctor, my physician. You are the only one who can cure me.
apanae sa(n)theh laehu oubaaree ||1|| rehaao ||, oubaaree , save me, liberate me, for I am Your sa(n)theh, I am Your Saint. Rehaao, Bhagat ji says pause and think, meditate upon these words.
maathhae peer sareer jalan hai karak karaejae maahee, maathhae, my head, peer, is pained, it aches, it hurts, sareer jalan hai, in my body there is a burning. karak karaejae maahee, and in my karaejae, in my heart there is a karak, there is a pain that cannot be cured.
aisee baedhan oupaj kharee bhee vaa kaa aoukhadhh naahee, aisee baedhan, such is the baedhan, such is the disaster that has struck me, oupaj kharee, vaa kaa aoukhadhh naahee, for that there is no aoukhadhh, there is no medicine on this earth.
har kaa naam a(n)mrith jal niramal eihu aoukhadhh jag saaraa, har kaa naam, the Naam of Hari, the Naam of Waheguru, the Naam of Akal Purakh; that nectar of the Naam is a(n)mrith jal niramal, it is a(n)mrith jal, it is nirmal, it is pure, it is amrit, it is immortal, jal, water, it is the immortal, purest water, Hari’s naam, Waheguru ji’s naam. And Bhagat ji says eihu aoukhadhh jag saaraa, this aoukhadhh, the medicine of the Naam, of meditating upon the Naam, Jag Sara, it is the only one which save this jag, this world. In the world it is only this medicine, the Naam medicine, which can save the world.
In another lines in Guru Granth Sahib ji, Guru ji says sansar roogi naam daroo, this whole world is diseased, roogi, naam daroo, naam is the medicine.
gur parasaadh kehai jan bheekhan paavo mokh dhuaaraa, In the end Bhagat ji says, gur parasaadh, with the Guru’s grace, Guru’s prasad, kehai jan bheekhan , servant Bheekhan speaks, paavo mokh dhuaaraa, paavo means to find, I found the mokha dhuaaraa, dhuaaraa means the door, mokh means liberation, I found the door to liberation, through the naam, through that nectar.
Bhagat ji is saying to us as well, does not matter what state you are, does not matter how low you feel, call out to Guru Sahib, call out to Waheguru ji and Waheguru ji is there to save us, Waheguru ji will be there out of His love for us, He will be our physician. Let us ask Waheguru ji to cure us as well, to bless us with the naam.
raam raae hohi baidh banavaaree || apanae sa(n)theh laehu oubaaree ||1|| rehaao ||
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa! Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
