Dhan Dhan Garib Nawaz Satgur Ji, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, martyr of martyrs speaks to us in Soohi Raag, raag of love sookh mahal jaa kay ooch du-aaray taa meh vaaseh bhagat pi-aaray Look at this line first , taa meh vaaseh bhagat pi-aaray in those places dwell or live bhagat pyaaray – beloved bhagats of Waheguru, within which places –under the first line, sookh mahal within mansions of peace, jaa kay ooch du-aaray where the gates are tall and high and mighty. Within the beautiful mansion of Waheguru AkaalPurakh, within that beautiful abode of peace and harmony, that is where the bhagats, the devotees dwell.

sahj kathaa parabh kee at meethee; The sahj katha of Prabhu, Akaal Purakh - Its natural speech, that is vibrating through everything is meethi – is very very sweet. But Guru Ji says virlai kaahoo naytarahu deethee only one in a million, only amongst millions there is one naytarahu deethee who has seen this light, this katha, this vibration with his eyes. Pause and think about this. tah geet naad akhaaray sangaa; tah In those ooch mahal, great mansions where those devotees dwell, geet naad there are songs of joy that go on continuously, the naad, the sound current which vibrate throughout the world is vibrating there; - within that arena of sangat, in the congregation. oohaa sant karahi har rangaa In those places the Sants, the saints, the celebrated masters of spirituality, karahi har rangaa they play in divine color of Hari, Waheguru. They play in the will of Waheguru. tah maran na jeevan sog na harkhaa At that place there is no death, there is no life, there is no pain and there is no happiness. saachnaam kee amrit varkhaa At that place there is only the ambrosial shower, ambrosial rain of saachnaam Naam of Waheguru, AkaalPurakh. guhaj katha ih gur tay jaanee From the Guru I found out this, what did I find out – the guhaj katha the mysterious speech of Akaal Purakh, I found out how to recognize the way that the God speaks to me, how Waheguru ji is speaking to us through everything and how do I find out – I find out through Guru.. He told me this ghat ghat may har juu vaseh The Waheguru ji pervades through everything,– Guru Ji did. He told is sabhey ghat raam boley through our hearts Raam speaks; who told us – Guru Ji did. naanak bolai har har bane With the Grace of Guru Nanak bolai speaks har har banee name of Waheguru. Guru Ji is talking of that place, that divine state of ecstasy those saints, those Bhagats, those Gurmukhs reach. May Waheguru bless us all that we may also be blessed one day with the same state.
