This Shabad is by Guru Arjan Dev Ji in Raag Sorath on Ang 626

Wahejuru ji ka khalsa! Waheguru ji ki fateh!

Today’s hukam is from Guru Arjan Dev ji in Raag Sora’th. And it is a very simple hukam of joy and thanksgiving. Guruji wrote this on the occasion of his son’s recovery from a terrible fever, which brought him near death. And Guruji says, The perfect Guru has dispelled the fever, and the Anhad Shabad, the sound of sounds, the music of the spheres, resounds in joy. And that through the mercy of God, comfort and health has returned. He says that the disease was not cured by doctors, but that the true Guru himself cured Hargobind ji. And he says that the entire Sadhsangat, and all of the saints and sages, in the earthly and etheric realms, are filled with joy, meditating on the name of joy, Har! Har! That the prayers of the saints were answered. And he ends by simply saying that Hargobind was saved by the will of God; not by the act of any man.

Waheguru ji ka khalsa! Waheguru ji ki fateh!
