dhhanaasaree mehalaa 3 theejaa ||
Dhanaasaree, Third Mehla:
jgu mYlw mYlo hoie jwie ]
jag mailaa mailo hoe jaae ||
The world is polluted, and those in the world become polluted as well.
AwvY jwie dUjY loBwie ]
aavai jaae dhoojai lobhaae ||
In attachment to duality, it comes and goes.
dUjY Bwie sB prj ivgoeI ]
dhoojai bhaae sabh paraj vigoee ||
This love of duality has ruined the entire world.

manamukh chottaa khaae apunee path khoee ||1||
The self-willed manmukh suffers punishment, and forfeits his honor. ||1||
gur syvw qy jnu inrmlu hoie ]
gur saevaa thae jan niramal hoe ||
Serving the Guru, one becomes immaculate.
