har japae har ma(n)dhar saajiaa sa(n)th bhagath gun gaavehi raam

Guru Arjan Dev Ji says har japae har ma(n)dhar saajiaa; Guru ji says that har japae, through japae, through meditating upon Hari, upon Waheguru; har ma(n)dhar saajiaa, saajiaa means to create, to build, to be established; mandir means the temple, har means Waheguru; Guru Ji is saying how is it that this temple has been established? This Hari Mandir - Guru Ji answers har japae, through meditating upon Waheguru. From one sense we can see that Guru ji is saying that hari mandir is not made by the marble or by the gold, its made by the people, who sit within and by the Guru who sits within and who prays Waheguru. By that praises, by that Kirtan, by that Holy Shabad which is going day and night - that is what creates the Harmandir. And not only internal level, Guru Ji is saying that this body is a temple. This body, this soul, this mind they are a gift from Waheguru and if we want to embellish them, and if we want to establish this body and temple to the Creator, then we must sing the praises of the Creator. sa(n)th bhagath gun gaavehi raam; the sants, the saints, the bhagats, the devotees, gun gaaveh sing the gun, the praises of Raam, Waheguru.
