Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

Today the hukamnama is by Guru Ram Das Ji in Soohi raag on Ang 732 of Siri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj

soohee mehlaa 4
Soohee, Fourth Mehl:

hir ikrpw kry min hir rMgu lwey ]
har kirpaa karay man har rang laa-ay.
Showering His Mercy, the Lord imbues the mind with His Love.

gurmuiK hir hir nwim smwey ]1]
gurmukh har har naam samaa-ay. ||1||
The Gurmukh merges in the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||

hir rMig rwqw mnu rMg mwxy ]
har rang raataa man rang maanay.
Imbued with the Lord’s Love, the mortal enjoys the pleasure of His Love.

sdw AnMMid rhY idn rwqI pUry gur kY sbid smwxy ]1] rhwau ]
sadaa anand rahai din raatee pooray gur kai sabad samaanay. ||1|| rahaa-o.
He remains always blissful, day and night, and he merges into the Shabad, the Word of the Perfect Guru ||1||Pause||

hir rMg kau locY sBu koeI ]
har rang ka-o lochai sabh ko-ee.
Everyone longs for the Lord’s Love;

gurmuiK rMgu clUlw hoeI ]2]
gurmukh rang chaloolaa ho-ee. ||2||
the Gurmukh is imbued with the deep red color of His Love. ||2||

mnmuiK mugDu nru korw hoie]
manmukh mugaDh nar koraa ho-ay.
The foolish, self-willed manmukh is left pale and uncolored

jy sau locY rMgu n hovY koie ]3]
jay sa-o lochai rang na hovai ko-ay. ||3||
Even if he wishes it a hundred times, he does not obtain the Lord’s Love. ||3||

ndir kry qw siqguru pwvY ]
nadar karay taa satgur paavai.
But if the Lord blesses him with His Glance of Grace, then he meets the True Guru.

nwnk hir ris hir rMig smwvY ]4]2]6]
naanak har ras har rang samaavai. ||4||2||6||
Nanak is absorbed into the subtle essence of the Lord’s Love. ||4||2||6||

kwieAw kwmix Aiq suAwil@au ipru vsY ijsu nwly ]
kaaeiaa kaaman ath suaaliho pir vasai jis naalae ||
The body-bride is very beautiful; she dwells with her Husband Lord.

ipr scy qy sdw suhwgix gur kw sbdu sm@wly ]
pir sachae thae sadhaa suhaagan gur kaa sabadh samhaalae ||
She becomes the happy soul-bride of her True Husband Lord, contemplating the Word of the Guru’s Shabad.

hir kI Bgiq sdw rMig rwqw haumY ivchu jwly ]1]
har kee bhagath sadhaa ra(n)g raathaa houmai vichahu jaalae ||1||
The Lord’s devotee is forever attuned to the Lord’s Love; her ego is burnt away from within. ||1||

vwhu vwhu pUry gur kI bwxI ]
vaahu vaahu poorae gur kee baanee ||
Waaho! Waaho! Blessed, blessed is the Word of the Perfect Guru’s Bani.

pUry gur qy aupjI swic smwxI ]1] rhwau ]
poorae gur thae oupajee saach samaanee ||1|| rehaao ||
It wells up and springs forth from the Perfect Guru, and merges into Truth. ||1||Pause||
