Siri Guru Ramdasji Maharaj is speaking today in the Soohi raag, the raag coloured in the crimson color of love. Satguruji begins with the words, “ Jithai har aaraadhee-ai tithai har mit sahaa-ee.” Where ever you remember Waheguru, you remember Hari, in that place Waheguru becomes our friend, becomes our support. Gur kirpaa tay har man vasai horat bidh la-i-aa na jaa-ee. But only through Guru’s grace can Hari, can Waheguru come to abide, come to dwell within our mind. There is no other way, no other to path to obtain, to have Waheguru ji abide in our heart, soul and mind. The only way is through Guru’s grace, only by listening to the Guru, only be following Guru’s every word can we truly find Waheguru.
Guru Ramdasji then says, “ Har dhan sanchee-ai bhaa-ee.” Oh my brothers gather the wealth of Hari, the wealth of God’s Name which Je halat palat har ho-ay sakhaa-ee. If you gather together the wealth of Waheguruji’s Naam then in this world and in the next world Hari, Waheguru, Akal Purakh will support you. Rahaa-o. Guruji says, “Pause and think about this.”
Satsangtee sang har dhan khatee-ai hor thai horat upaa-ay har dhan kitai na paa-ee. We may ask the Guru, “Where can you get this wealth?” Guru Ramdasji says, “In the congregation of the truth, amongst those people who are looking for the truth we can obtain the wealth of Hari, the wealth of Waheguruji’s Naam. In any method, in any other type of means you cannot find that Waheguruji’s Naam anywhere else. Only in the protection of Dhan Dhan Siri Guru Granth Sahib ji and the fortress of Sadhsangat that you will find this wealth.” Har ratnai kaa vapaaree-aa har ratan dhan vihaajhay kachai kay vaapaaree-ay vaak har dhan la-i-aa na jaa-ee. Those people who trade in the diamond of Waheguruji’s Naam they gather together the diamond of Waheguruji’s Naam, the wealth of Wahguruji’s Naam. Those people who are traders in glass and in falsehood they will not get Waheguruji’s Naam. Guru pyaari Saadhsangatji Guruji is saying to us, “All those fakes out there cannot give us what Satguru Granth Sahibji can give us!” Realise this! What our father Guru Granth Sahib can give us, no one else in the world can give us.
Har dhan ratan javayhar maanak har dhanai naal amrit vaylai vatai har bhagtee har liv laa-ee. The wealth of Waheguruji’s Naam, of Hari, is like diamonds, gems, rubies. Remember in Japji Sahib Guru Sahib ji says, “ Mat vich rattan javayhar maanak je ik gur ki sikh sunee.” The wealth of Waheguru is like the wealth of diamonds like peace, jewels like virtue, of rubies like harmony. In the ambrosial time, in the immortal time of immortality where the world sleeps and only those who love Guru, those who love God are awake, the consciousness of devotees, can be connected to Waheguru. They can gather together the wealth of Waheguruji’s Naam.
Har dhan amrit vaylai vatai kaa beeji-aa bhagat khaa-ay kharach rahay nikhutai naahee. That seed which has been sown in the ambrosial time, the devotees use the fruit of that through out their life time. It never runs out, it never finishes, in never ends, it is never exhausted, it never tires out. Guru Sahibji is saying to us, “Oh Gursikho get up in the amrit vela, gather together the wealth of Waheguruji’s Naam and it will never end.” Halat palat har dhanai kee bhagtaa ka-o milee vadi-aa-ee. In this world and in the next world through the wealth of Waheguruji’s Naam and through the wealth of Waheguruji’s gyaan, through the wealth of Waheguruji’s gurmat the bhagats, the devotees, the one’s who are imbued with love for Satugurji Maharaj, imbues with love of Waheguru, for Akal Purakh ji, they will be blessed with greatness, with glory.
Har dhan nirbha-o sadaa sadaa asthir hai saachaa ih har dhan agnee taskarai paanee-ai jamdootai kisai kaa gavaa-i-aa na jaa-ee. The wealth of Wahguru makes you fearless. This wealth of Waheguruji’s Naam is forever and forever stable, no one can move it. Also it is the truth. Fire, thieves, water, even the angels of death, messenger of death cannot take the wealth of Waheguruji’s Naam away from you. Jeha mat pita na sut na bhai man ooha naam tere sang sahai. Jaha maha bhyan doot jam dalai teh keval naam sang terai chalai. In the second Astpatte of Sukhmani Sahib Guru Arjun Devji says the same thing, “No one can take this Naam away from you.”
Har dhan ka-o uchkaa nayrh na aavee jam jaagaatee dand na lagaa-ee. The robbers cannot even come near the wealth of Waheguruji’s Naam. The angels of death cannot touch the wealth of Naam and they cannot touch those people who have gathered together this wealth. They cannot come near that person who has this wealth, at all. Saaktee paap kar kai bikhi-aa dhan sanchi-aa tinaa ik vikh naal na jaa-ee. Those people who have no faith, those people who are cynics of the Guru, those people who have no faith in the Guru, in Waheguru, what have they done? They have done sins and they have collected together the wealth of poison. But for them not even one of their poisons’ will help them. In fact those poisons are the one’s which will ensnare them entrap them then but also in this world those poisons’ ensnare and entrap them.
Haltai vich saakat duhaylay bha-ay hathahu chhurhak ga-i-aa agai palat saakat har dargeh dho- ee na paa-ee. In this world people who have no faith in the Guru because of all the sins they have collected together they have a horrible time, they are miserable. Those people who haven’t got the wealth of Naam are miserable because only that wealth can release us. The time that they had to meditate upon Waheguru has gone from their hands, has slipped away from their hands. In the next world the faithless ones will not find any place, any shelter in the court of Waheguru.
When the Sikhs asked, “Who is the greatest banker, trader, the greatest merchant of this wealth.” Then Guru Ramdas ji says, “ Is har dhan kaa saahu har aap hai santahu jis no day-ay so har dhan lad chalaa-ee. Waheguruji Himself is the banker, is the greatest merchant of this wealth of Waheguruji’s Naam, of this spiritual wealth. Those whom Waheguruji’s gives this wealth, only those people can take away the benefit of this wealth. Is har dhanai kaa totaa kaday na aavee jan naanak ka-o gur sojhee paa-ee. In the end they can never be in exhaustion of this wealth of Waheguru. Servant Nanak has been blessed with this understanding that there is no end to this wealth of Waheguru, there is no end to this spiritual wealth. It is only conferred upon those who are blessed with the Guru’s grace, who are blessed with the Guru’s Prasad, with Guru’s Kirpa.
May Guru Ramdasji do kirpa upon us today and bless us all with the Nanak Naam. May this Nanak Naam bring us into Chardi Kala and then tere bhane sarbat da bhala.
Is har dhan kaa saahu har aap hai santahu jis no day-ay so har dhan lad chalaa-ee. Is har dhanai kaa totaa kaday na aavee jan naanak ka-o gur sojhee paa-ee.
