My mind is deluded, entangled in Maya.

Whatever I do, while engaged in greed, only serves to bind me down. ||1||Pause||

samajh n paree bikhai ras rachiou jas har ko bisaraaeiou ||
I have no understanding at all; I am engrossed in the pleasures of corruption, and I have forgotten the Praises of the Lord.

sa(n)g suaamee so jaaniou naahin ban khojan ko dhhaaeiou ||1||
The Lord and Master is with me, but I do not know Him. Instead, I run into the forest, looking for Him. ||1||

rathan raam ghatt hee kae bheethar thaa ko giaan n paaeiou ||
The Jewel of the Lord is deep within my heart, but I do not have any knowledge of Him.

O servant Nanak, without vibrating, meditating on the Lord God, human life is uselessly wasted and lost. ||2||1||

Satguru Paadshah, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Maharaj, the ninth light of Guru Nanak Jio speaks in the Jaitsree raag and says,
ik oa(n)kaar sathigur prasaadh There is one ik oankaar who brings light to all, who is the nourisher and the protector and in the end the destroyer of all, that one eternal Waheguru is sat is forever, is eternal and is gur prasaad found through the Guru’s grace.

bhooliou man maaeiaa ourajhaaeiou Satgur ji says bhooliou man O my deluded mind, O my lost mind you have become entangled ourajhaaeiou in maaeiaa this illusion all around you. SatGuru Maharaj Ji seems here as if talking to his mind but really He is talking to us.

jo jo karam keeou laalach lag thih thih aap ba(n)dhhaaeiou What ever we do jo jo karam, any karam we do, laalach lag whats been attached to greed while serving greed, thih thih aap bandhhaaeiou all of those actions tie us down. What Tegh Bahadur Ji Maharaj is saying to us is that when we are following greed, when we are following lust, anger, when we are looking out for our own greed, even if we are doing something which is outwardly religious we are still tying ourselves down. Satgur ji is saying even if you are doing seva, but you are doing seva for your greed that may I get this reward, or may so many people know that I am doing seva, or may people say that this sardarji or this bhainji has done so much seva, if you are looking for worldly things in seva or simran, Guruji says even that can tie you down. Anything which is done out for ego can tie you down. rehaao Guruji says pause and think about this today.

samajh n paree bikhai ras rachiou jas har ko bisaraaeiou Paadshah Ji is saying samajh n paree human being has not acquired any understanding of what it is to be alive, why he or she is alive. Why? Because bikhai ras rachiou the human is completely absorbed in essence, in the pleasures of the poison of this world, of this illusions. Then what happens? jas har ko bisaraaeiou The human being has forgotten praises of Waheguru.

sa(n)g suaamee so jaaniou naahin ban khojan ko dhhaaeiou Guru Ji is saying that suaamee the Lord is sang with you all the time but you do not know Him. so jaaniou naahin You have not understood Him, have not listened to that Waheguru within you. Haven’t done the simran to calm your mind, to win your mind and listen to that Waheguru within. Instead what does the human being do? ban khojan ko dhhaaeiou, ban means forest, khojan means to search, dhhaaeiou means to leave and run through. Instead the human being runs through the forest looking for Waheguru when really Waheguru Ji is within. What does this mean? Forest means everything outward as well. Looking for Waheguru in outward things.

rathan raam ghatt hee kae bheethar thaa ko giaan n paaeiou The true diamond, rathan, the true jewel of Waheguru Ji, of God is ghatt hee kae bheethar within your heart. thaa ko giaan n paaeiou But the human being has not acquired this knowledge, this understanding, this blessing.

jan naanak bhagava(n)th bhajan bin birathhaa janam gavaaeiou Servant Nanak says without meditation upon the Lord the human being looses, wastes this life completely uselessly.
Guru Tegh Bahadur Paadshah Ji waking us up and saying, Wake up from this entanglement. If you are entangled in this illusion, even the good deeds you do will tie you down because you will be doing them out for your greed, for your lust, ego, anger, out for attachment. Guruji says we must raise above this. May Guru Sahibji do Kirpa upon every person who listens to this Hukam today, who is fortunate and blessed to listen to the Hukam today and may Guruji with His own hands raise us from this entanglement of maya.
