Satguru Arjan Dev ji speaks to us today, and Satguru Arjan Dev ji says, thaeraa jan raam rasaaein maathaa, Your servant, your jan, is maathaa, is intoxicated with rasaaein, with the essence of raam, of God.

praem rasaa nidhh jaa ko oupajee shhodd n kathehoo jaathaa Praem rasaa, the rasaa, the nectar, the essence of praem, of love, nidhh, that treasure of that essence, jaa ko oupajee. In whose heart there is the illumination, the blessing of that nidhh, of that treasure, of true love, oupajee shhodd n kathehoo jaathaa. He cannot leave You alone and go anywhere else.

Rehaao. Guruji says, Pause and think about this.

bait(h)ath har Waheguru’s servant, when he is sitting down, he is meditating, Hari, Hari, Waheguru, Waheguru, Waheguru, Waheguru. sovath har har har. When he sleeps, Waheguru, Waheguru, Waheguru. Har ras bhojan khaathaa. And the bhojan, the food that he eats is the raas, is the essence of Waheguru. A great respected soul, Baba Har Ram Singhji, a Mahalpurukh, had the lines breham giaanee kai naam aadhhaar Sukhmani Sahib. The Lord gives nourishment even to those who are hungry. And so to Santji, Babaji, who had complete faith in these words, the food he ate didn’t mean anything. He just did meditation, lived for 40 days without eating anything. And here the Gurbani Is telling us, Har ras, the ras, the essence of Waheguru’s naam, is bhojan, is their food, is their sustenance.

at(h)asat(h) theerathh majan keeno saadhhoo dhhooree naathaa
Guruji says, If you want to bathe at the 68 places of pilgrimage, theerathh, then what do you have to do. Saadhhoo dhhooree naathaa. Then naathaa, then bathe yourself in the dust of the feet of the saadhhoo, of the saints, of the holy ones, of the Gurmukhs, of the Gursikhs.

safal janam har jan kaa oupajiaa. The janam, the birth of that har jan, is safal, is blessed, is satisfied, is fulfilled. jin keeno south bidhhaathaa. Who has recognized that the bidhhaahaa, the Creator Himself is his Father.

sagal samooh lai oudhharae naanak pooran breham pashhaathaa Oh Naanak! Sagal samooh, takes everyone with him and saves them all. That person who is pooran breham pashhaathaa, who has recognized complete, pooran breham, Waheguru, complete Braham (breham), complete Akaal Purukh, within him, within her, that person saves everyone around him.

So Guru Arjan Dev ji is saying to us that God’s humble servant is intoxicated, not with anything else, but with pure love of Akaal Purukh.
