One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

suK soihlVw hir iDAwvhu ]
sukh sohilarraa har dhhiaavahu ||
Meditate on the Lord, and find peace and pleasure.

gurmuiK hir Plu pwvhu ]
guramukh har fal paavahu ||
As Gurmukh, obtain the Lord’s fruitful rewards.

gurmuiK Plu pwvhu hir nwmu iDAwvhu jnm jnm ky dUK invwry ]
guramukh fal paavahu har naam dhhiaavahu janam janam kae dhookh nivaarae ||
As Gurmukh, obtain the fruit of the Lord, and meditate on the Lord’s Name; the pains of countless lifetimes shall be erased.

bilhwrI gur Apxy ivthu ijin kwrj siB svwry ]
balihaaree gur apanae vittahu jin kaaraj sabh savaarae ||
I am a sacrifice to my Guru, who has arranged and resolved all my affairs. 

hir pRBu ik®pw kry hir jwphu suK Pl hir jn pwvhu ]
har prabh kirapaa karae har jaapahu sukh fal har jan paavahu ||
The Lord God will bestow His Grace, if you meditate on the Lord; O humble servant of the Lord, you shall obtain the fruit of peace.

nwnku khY suxhu jn BweI suK soihlVw hir iDAwvhu ]1]
naanak kehai sunahu jan bhaaee sukh sohilarraa har dhhiaavahu ||1||
Says Nanak, listen O humble Sibling of Destiny: meditate on the Lord, and find peace and pleasure. 

suix hir gux BIny shij suBwey ]
sun har gun bheenae sehaj subhaaeae ||
Hearing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I am intuitively drenched with His Love. 

ijn kau Duir iliKAw iqn guru imilAw iqn jnm mrx Bau Bwgw ]
jin ko dhhur likhiaa thin gur miliaa thin janam maran bho bhaagaa
Those who have such pre-ordained destiny, meet the Guru, and their fears of birth and death leave them.

AMdrhu durmiq dUjI KoeI so jnu hir ilv lwgw ]
a(n)dharahu dhuramath dhoojee khoee so jan har liv laagaa ||
One who eliminates evil-mindedness and duality from within himself, that humble being lovingly focuses his mind on the Lord.

ijn kau ikpw kInI myrY suAwmI iqn Anidnu hir gux gwey ]
jin ko kirapaa keenee maerai suaamee thin anadhin har gun gaaeae ||
Those, upon whom my Lord and Master bestows His Grace, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, night and day.

suix mn BIny shij suBwey ]2]
sun man bheenae sehaj subhaaeae ||2||
Hearing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I am intuitively drenched with His Love. ||2||

jug mih rwm nwmu insqwrw ]
jug mehi raam naam nisathaaraa ||
In this age, emancipation comes only from the Lord’s Name.

gur qy aupjY sbdu vIcwrw ]
gur thae oupajai sabadh veechaaraa ||
Contemplative meditation on the Word of the Shabad emanates from the Guru.

gur sbdu vIcwrw rwm nwmu ipAwrw ijsu ikrpw kry su pwey ]
gur sabadh veechaaraa raam naam piaaraa jis kirapaa karae s paaeae ||
Contemplating the Guru’s Shabad, one comes to love the Lord’s Name; he alone obtains it, unto whom the Lord shows Mercy

shjy gux gwvY idnu rwqI iklivK siB gvwey ]
sehajae gun gaavai dhin raathee kilavikh sabh gavaaeae ||
In peace and poise, he sings the Lord’s Praises day and night, and all sins are eradicated.

sBu ko qyrw qU sBnw kw hau qyrw qU hmwrw ]
sabh ko thaeraa thoo sabhanaa kaa ho thaeraa thoo hamaaraa ||
All are Yours, and You belong to all. I am Yours, and You are mine.

jug mih rwm nwmu insqwrw ]3]
jug mehi raam naam nisathaaraa ||3||
In this age, emancipation comes only from the Lord’s Name. ||3||

saajan aae vut(h)ae ghar maahee ||
The Lord, my Friend has come to dwell within the home of my heart;

hir gux gwvih iqRpiq AGwhI ]
har gun gaavehi thripath aghaahee ||
singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, one is satisfied and fulfilled.

hir gux gwie sdw iqRpqwsI iPir BUK n lwgY Awey ]
har gun gaae sadhaa thripathaasee fir bhookh n laagai aaeae ||
Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, one is satisfied forever, never to feel hunger again.

dh idis pUj hovY hir jn kI jo hir hir nwmu iDAwey ]
dheh dhis pooj hovai har jan kee jo har har naam dhhiaaeae ||
That humble servant of the Lord, who meditates on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is worshipped in the ten directions.

nwnk hir Awpy joiV ivCoVy hir ibnu ko dUjw nwhI ]
naanak har aapae jorr vishhorrae har bin ko dhoojaa naahee ||
O Nanak, He Himself joins and separates; there is no other than the Lord.
