In the Soohi raag, Guru Arjun Devji Patshah blesses us today. Guru Arjun Devji says, Jo kish karai soee prabh maanehi oue raam naam rang raathae. Those people who are colored in the divine color, in the divine color of God’s love, they accept whatever God does. They accept that as His hukam. Hukam rajai chalana Nanak likhiya naal. as Guru Nanak says in Japji Sahib. They accept that. Thina kee sobhaa sabhanee thaaee jina prabh kae charan paraathae. The glory of those people who have surrendered everything to the lotus feet of Waheguru, who have surrendered everything, their mind, their body and their soul to the creator in all places there is their glory, their praises are sung.

Maerae raam har santhaa jaevadd n koee. I look around in this world, Guru Arjun Devji says, but no one is as great as the saints of the Lord, of Waheguru, no one. You may ask what about the warriors? What about the kings? What about the warriors who have achieved so much. Just as Bhagat Ravidasji says in Bilaaval raag on Ang 858 of Guru Granth Sahibji, Pandit soor chatarpat raja, bhagat braabar aur na koye. There is no one who is on equal to the saints. Not the Pandits, not the religious scholars, not the warriors, not the chatarpat raja, none of the kings, queens, presidents or prime ministers of the world. Why? Because jaise puraain paat rahain jal sameep bhan ravidas jan me jag oye. Those people who are saints they live their life in this world like the lily leaves float upon this water. They are in the water but above the water. That is why they are so great. Bhagathaa ban aaee prabh apanae sio jal thal meheeal soee. They have joined union with their Lord, with Waheguru. He is in the water, in the land and in the sky. Rehaao. Guruji says, Pause and think.

Kott apraadhee santhasang oudharai jam thaa kai naerr n aavai. Millions upon millions of sinners, of evil doers are liberated, are saved by going into the congregation of the saints. The messengers of death do not even approach the saints, they do not even come close to the saints. Janam janam kaa bishurriaa hovai thina har sio aan milaavai. Even that person who has been separated from Waheguru from many lifetimes, those holy ones unite that being with Waheguru. Maaeiaa moh bharam bho kaattai santh saran jo aavai. Anyone who comes into the protection of the saints they rip through the attachments to maya, the doubts and the fear.

Jaehaa manorath kar aaraadhae so santhan thae paavai. Whatever wish you have in your mind meditate upon the saints and you will receive that. Jan kee mehimaa kaethak barano jo prabh apanae bhaanae. Guruji says, How can I speak? How can I describe? How can I give you description of the glory of the servant of God who lives his/her life within the will of God. Kahu naanak jin sathigur bhaettiaa sae sabh thae bheae nikaanae. Nanak says, Those great saints who have merged with the Guru they have become independent of everything in this world. They have become in this world, but beyond this world. They live their life in this world yet they are not dirtied by this world. Just as Guru Nanak Devji says in the Raamkali raag, on Ang 930 of Guru Granth Sahibji, Jaise jal mei kamal niraamal murgaye nai sane. Just like the lotus flower floats upon the surface of the water and the duck swims through the water but the water just goes straight off the duck’s back. It doesn’t attach to the duck. In the same way the servants of the Lord live in this world. That is the most beautiful thing. That is the thing that is most amazing about them that they live in this world but their minds, hearts and soul are beyond this world. They are united with one Akal purakh, Waheguru.

In today’s hukamnama Guruji sings the praises of the saints and tells us Mere raam har santa jaivad avar na koye. There is none as great as those people who live their life in the will of God, attached to His love.

Jan kee mehimaa kaethak barano jo prabh apanae bhaanae.
Kahu naanak jin sathigur bhaettiaa sae sabh thae bheae nikaanae.
