Guru Arjan Dev ji Maharaj speaks today in the raag Dhanaasaaree, the raag in which all anxieties fall away and one is left in the supreme state of carefreeness. And Guru Arjan Dev ji says,

kithai prakaar n thootto preeth dhaas thaerae kee niramal reeth kithai prakaar, kithai means in any, prakaar means in any way. N thootto preeth,  how to be in complete love.  Guru Arjan Dev ji says, the love which the devotee and Waheguru share cannot be broken by anything. Nothing can break the tie of love. Nothing can break that connection. That preeth. Why? Because dhaas thaerae kee niramal reeth. Because dhaas thaerae, thaerae means yours, dhass means servant. Because your servant has niramal reeth. Because the reeth, the way in which your servant acts is niramal, is pure. All of his actions are pure. They are untainted by falsehood. And therefore that true love cannot be broken, because falsehood doesn’t come near to hurt.

rehaao Guruji says Pause and think about this.

jeea praan man dhhan thae piaaraa Guruji says, Waheguru is more piaaraa, is more dear to me, is worth more to me, than my jeea, my soul, than my praan, my breath of life which keeps me alive, and my man, my mind, and my dhhan, my wealth. Guruji is saying, Above all of these things, I love Waheguru. He is my piaraa. He is my Beloved.

houmai ba(n)dhh har dhaevanehaaraa Waheguru is the one, ba(n)dhh means to capture, to restrain. Waheguru is the one who captures the houmai, the ego. He wipes away the ego, har dhaevanehaaraa. And Hari, Waheguru is also the dhaevanehaaraa, the Giver to all.

charan kamal sio laago naehu Guruji says, I have laago neahu, I have fallen in love, laago means to attach, neahu means love. I have attached myself with love to the charan kamal, to the lotus feet of Waheguru. I am deeply in love with Waheguru. I am deeply in love with the Guru. I will follow whatever the Guru says. I see none other.

naanak kee baena(n)thee eaeh naanak kee baena*n)thee, Nanak kee means only, Nanak’s baena(n)thee, Nanak’s only prayer, is that he remains in love with the lotus feet of Waheguru. That he remains drenched in love for Waheguru.

In a beautiful hukamnama today, a beautiful shabad, Guruji describes that love which cannot be broken. There is no power on earth that can break our love, Guruji says. But, what do we have to do? We have to make sure that our lives are pure. That our lives are lived according to what the Guru says. And then nothing can break our love. Nothing can break this preeth.
