Satguru Amardasji Maharaj speaks to us today through the Soohi Raag, the raag coloured in the diving colour of God’s love. Satguruji says, “Jae lorrehi var baalarreeeae thaa gur charanee chith laaeae raam.” Oh young bride, if you want to meet with your husband Lord, then focus your consciousness of the lotus feet of you Guru, for Guru is the one who will take you from darkness into light. The One who will bring enlightenment, the One who will bring realization within you is the Guru. So focus on the Guru. Sadhaa hovehi sohaaganee har jeeo marai n jaaeae raam. If you unit with Akal Purakh then forever you will be blessed with being the bride of Lord. Har jeeo marai n jaaeae gur kai sehaj subhaaeae saa dhan kanth piaaree. Waheguru does not die or leave ever. Waheguru will never die, will never end, will never be wiped out. Satguruji says, “You will be blessed with the eternal husband, the eternal Lord, Waheguru; Akal Purakh.” But what do you have to do? “From the Guru you must be blessed with the nature of complete balance, where everything is the same.” That level where you just see one in all. The soul bride who takes that on, that soul bride is loved by the Lord, by Waheguru.

Sach sanjam sadhaa hai niramal gur kai sabadh seegaaree. That soul bride who follows what the Guru says is always pure. Why? Because she has the qualities of truth, control over the senses and she is decorated with the words of the Guru. Maeraa prabh saachaa sadh hee saachaa jin aapae aap oupaaeiaa. My Waheguru, my Lord is true, forever will be true. From Himslef, He created Himself as we say in Moolmantar, “Ajooni Sai Bhang.” God is beyond being born and He is self-illuminated. What do we mean by that? There was no one who created Waheguru. Naanak sadhaa pir raavae aapanaa jin gur charanee chith laaeiaa. Nanak that soul bride will enjoy her husband Lord, will meet become one with her husband Lord who focuses her consciousness to the Guru’s Lotus feet will be united with Akal Purakh. “It’s as simple as that!”, Guru Sahibji says.

Pir paaeiarraa baalarreeeae anadhin sehajae maathee raam. What happens when the young bride finds the Lord? Day and night she is completely intoxicated with this level, with the sehaj avastha which is blessed by meeting the Lord. Guramathee man anadh bhaeiaa thith than mail n raathee raam. Through following the Guru’s wisdom, in soul bride’s mind there is complete ecstasy for ever and ever. Her body is not afflicted by any dirt. There is no dirt on her now, she has been washed in love of Waheguru. Thith than mail n raathee har prabh raathee maeraa prabh mael milaaeae. The soul bride’s body cannot by touched by filth because she is completely one, completely imbued with Waheguru. My Waheguru has united her with Himself, they have become one.

Anadhin raavae har prabh apanaa vichahu aap gavaaeae. Day and night she enjoys her Waheguru, her Lord. From inside she loses all thoughts of herself, she loses herself completely in Waheguru. What does that mean? She loses her ego, she loses her lust, her desires, loses everything in Waheguru and realizes there is only one, there is Ik Oangkaar. Guramath paaeiaa sehaj milaaeiaa apanae preetham raathee. When the soul bride is blessed with Guru’s wisdom then she easily is reunited with the Lord and she is colored in the love of her beloved. Naanak naam milai vaddiaaee prabh raavae rang raathee. Oh Nanak! through the Naam, the soul bride is being blessed with glory and greatness. She enjoys being one with her husband Lord and is colored in the color of love of Waheguru.

Pir raavae rang raatharreeeae pir kaa mehal thin paaeiaa raam. That soul bride who enjoys her Lord, and is colored in complete love for her Lord, that soul bride finds the abode of the Lord. So seho ath niramal dhaathaa jin vichahu aap gavaaeiaa raam. That soul bride who is blessed by Waheguru, the giver of all is always pure. She loses of all idea of herself in the Lord. Vichahu mohu chukaaeiaa jaa har bhaaeiaa har kaaman man bhaanee. When Waheguru blessed the soul bride He removed the attachment from her and then she becomes pleasing to the mind of the Lord. Anadhin gun gaavai nith saachae kathae akath kehaanee. Day and night she sings the praises of the true Waheguru and she starts speaking the words which cannot even be spoken. What does that mean? That means that there is such a level where those words cannot even be put into words. Inside there is a sound which is not made by drum, which is not made by string or by wind instrument, it goes beyond all of that, the unstruck sound plays inside. Jug chaarae saachaa eaeko varathai bin gur kinai n paaeiaa. Within the four ages there is only one true Lord, throughout them all. Guru Amardasji tells us very bluntly here, “Throughout the four ages, without the Guru, without the shabad Guru [because the shabad is the Guru as Guru Nanak Devji says, “Shabad Guru Surat Dhun Chela.”] no one has found Waheguru, No one. Naanak rang ravai rang raathee jin har saethee chith laaeiaa. Oh Nanak that soul bride who has focused her consciousness to Hari, to Waheguru she is in ecstasy and she is colored in the love of God.

Kaaman man sohilarraa saajan milae piaarae raam. In the mind of the soul bride there is great joy, there are songs of happiness within her when she is united with her beloved Friend. Guramathee man niramal hoaa har raakhiaa our dhaarae raam. Through the Guru’s wisdom her mind has been cleansed and now she keeps Waheguru within her heart. Har raakhiaa our dhaarae apanaa kaaraj savaarae guramathee har jaathaa. She has the Lords within her heart and Whaheguruji sorts all of her affairs, all of her doings are sorted by God because through the Guru’s wisdom she has known the Guru. Preetham mohi laeiaa man maeraa paaeiaa karam bidhaathaa. That beloved Waheguru has completely taken my mind, has completely made me fall in love with Him and I have found the one who creates all the Karma for everyone. I have found the one who has made all destinities, that Waheguru. Sathigur saev sadhaa sukh paaeiaa har vasiaa mann muraarae. That soul bride has found eternal peace by serving the Guru and Waheguru, the destroyer of ego, abides within her mind. Naanak mael lee gur apunai gur kai sabadh savaarae. Oh Nanak, she has been united by her Guru, by the Shabad Guru and she is decorated with this beautiful shabad that she carries with her wherever she goes.

So Satguruji Maharaj in this whole hukamnama is talking about that soul bride who has realized the Lord. May Guru Sahib do kirpa that their words upon the soul bride abide within our minds and within our hearts.

Sathigur saev sadhaa sukh paaeiaa har vasiaa mann muraarae. Naanak mael lee gur apunai gur kai sabadh savaarae.
