Guru Ji says saevak sikh poojan sabh aavehi - sabh means all, saevak sikh means servant, poojan means to worship. All the Sikhs, all the servants, all the beloved ones, come and worship you, Waheguru. All of them, sabh, sing, gaavehi the ootham bani , the highest of high, Bani of Waheguru.
Your words Waheguru, or Hari Hari. They all come and adore you and sing your praises but gaaviaa suniaa thin kaa har thhaae paavai jin sathigur kee aagiaa sath sath kar maanee The gaaviaa, singing, and suniaa, listening of those people. thin kaa, har thhaae paavai, Har, Waheguru , thhaae paavai is approved by Waheguru. jin sathigur kee aagiaa sath sath kar maanee jin. Only those people, manee ,who accept every single word of the Guru, every word that the Guru says as the ultimate truth, for them, only those people, only those voices, are blessed and approved. And only that singing and only the listening of those people is approved: those who follow the Guru’s words, word for word, and accept the Guru’s words above anything else.
bolahu bhaaee Oh my brothers and sisters! bhaaee, bolahu , Sing the praises. keerath Chant the praises of Waheguru, of God. Waheguru is the only sacred place teerathh within this ocean of fear of the world.
har dhar thin kee ootham baath hai sa(n)thahu har kathhaa jin janahu jaanee har dhar At the court, at the door of the Lord or Waheguru, thin kee of those people, ootham bath hai, their praises, santhahu oh Saints: Those servants of Waheguru who understood jaanee and comtemplated upon the sermon of Waheguru; the Guru’s teachings with all their heart, mind and soul, those people are respected even in the court of God.
Reehao Guru ji wants us to pause and think.
aapae gur Waheguru himself is the Guru, chaelaa hai aapae, Waheguru himself is the servant, disciple. har prabh choj viddaanee Waheguru himself plays this game of the world.
jan naanak aap milaaeae soee har milasee avar sabh thiaag ouhaa har bhaanee
Oh servant! jan Nanaak! Only those people whom Waheguru milaaeae unites with himself are united with him. har milasee , Only those people who meet with God merge with Waheguru. All of the avar, rest, are discarded, are given up, thiaag, And Waheguru loves those people who are uniting themselves and are walking on his path.
Guru ji is saying to us today, Guru Ram Dass ji, is saying to us today that many come in to the court of the Guru, but only those people take away the love, the wisdom and the understanding, who not only listen to what the Guru says, but live their lives upon those words. Those great people are not only mindful of the words of the Waheguru but in deed as well ( Baba Deep Singh, Bhai Taru Singh, Bhai Mati Das, Bhai Sati Das). All those great Gursikhs who not just talked about the Waheguru, but put it into practice. That is what Guruji is saying to us today.
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
